Sorry I didn't respond directly to your message Will. Lost Odyssey is a good game. You never have to grind, there's a lot to see, the combat is kind of fun but takes a bit too long. You end up spending a lot of times in the menu because how the skill system works. The characters are really good, the character design is really bad. I'm only on the second disc, got stuck at one dungeon puzzle and then lost my disc when I moved. It has FRENCH VOCALS, which make everything better even if the subtitles don't work for certain background text. Has a lot of voice options, that's actually fun to switch around. It's a good JRPG deserving of your time especially for 10. Has a lot of flaws but it feels more like a Final Fantasy than say XIII.
I know someone posted a video of this forever ago but searching for the name turns up nothing for me. Anyway, Time and Eternity comes out soon (EU release date is June 28, NA is "summer") and is supposed to be not very good but I still think it looks cool.
The Guided Fate Paradox comes out sometime this fall/winter.
Time & Eternity looks like a good idea done in possibly the worst way. Go look up some videos of non-battle gameplay. It uses the exact same stupid perspective as the battle trailer you linked, which only serves to accentuate the extremely limited number of animation frames. There's something wrong when an indie game like Chantelise makes better use of 2D characters in a 3D world.
I've seen a lot of videos of it, I know it's a bad game. This does not deter me.
There's a THREAD for Time & Eternity!
If it wasn't coming out on the same day as both Shin Megami 4 and Rune Factory 4, i might have gotten it. i'll probably get it if NISA has a Christmas sale again.

I tried looking! I knew I saw it somewhere!
Link to me because I'm apparently bad at the search engine.

Thanks.
I thought the thread was older than that. And I'm still puzzled how my searches of the title didn't turn it up.
