I've got Hyper Dimension Victory preordered.
That's the only one I'm getting day one. We will see about the rest.
I'm definitely sold on Lost Odyssey, I like the mix of Highlander meets Final Fantasy.
The character designs from what I'm seeing aren't the most appealing but I guess it'll just take some getting used to. The only problem I'm having right now is finding it new for a reasonable price given it's "out of print" status. Also, the way they packed the discs in looks pretty retarded:
Indeed.
Tales of Xillia looks pretty good, the graphics style is a little flatter than I would like but the art direction is still appealing.

RPG maker is 50% off on steam for the next hours. Any of you have any thoughts on it? I was thinking about getting it for prototyping.
You know, maybe make a small demo of something, put it up, see if I can get a kickstarter or something for a full game.
I've heard you can expand the engine using ruby too. It would be a good excuse to learn a new language.
The scripting is pretty robust considering how the program initially appears to be, almost every single "rule" the engine has can be broken. Some people have made 3D villages similar to the look of FFT, and custom scripting can also make the game work like Diablo or Zelda if you so choose.
Well, I got it now.
Now to make an rpg about Razor's quest out of the closet, scored by 16 bit gaga
The game of you would be scored by Animotion.
