Holy shit, Voodoo. I remember that too. Was Unreal one of the first games that utilized it?

wat, no
it was more or less one of the first to require it since it ran like dogcrap on anything else
IIRC Tomb Raider was the first game that really showed off the card.
Same here. It also doesn't hurt that the same friend helping me with my build is also a huge OR fan. He ordered the new one yesterday, so I'm sure we'll be testing it out in July. I'm curious to see the difference between the two versions (he also has the first one).

I have the first one, but I expected to buy the consumer version as well. Dev2 seems just like the consumer version but with a few downgrades.
look here, upon a sig graveyard.
How do you like it sedition?
Yeah, Unreal came a bit later, but a lot of games were made before that that didn't require the card but ran much, much better with it. Turok was the first game I got that took advantage of it, and it looked like a totally different game from the N64. Wing Commander Prophecy was my first killer app for it, though.
This is really cool, but I have no interest in strapping a thing to my head to play games.
Boo, Hiss.
icarus, you're not seeing the big picture here.
