Watch Dogs

Just Cause 2 was one of the best games of last gen, imo. Still on the fence about Watch Dogs, but I'll probably cave and pick it up now that I've beaten Wolfenstein. Any impressions of the supposedly seamless multiplayer?

Technically GTA V is amazing but I enjoyed Just Cause 2 and Sleeping Dogs more than the time I spent with GTA V outside of the usual dicking around non mission stuff.

I liked the demo of sleeping dogs a lot and kept it in mind to play when I got the chance. After GTA 5, everything but hand to hand combat in SD feels like a step back in design and execution. The driving especially, it feels really bootleg.

Saints Row IV was the best because you never had to drive anywhere. You just jumped across the map.

I think every open world game is fucked when compared to
GTA 5.

"Open world" is so broad. GTA5 is brilliant but I am playing DR3 now and it's great and very different from GTA5. JC2 is one of the best games, also nothing like GTA5.

I do think that GTA5 kind of ruined it for games that play like GTA, though, if that makes sense. Sleepy Dogs is a cool game but pretty crude next to GTA5.
