Accepted or not, it makes the person using it sound like a fucking idiot.

  2. It's still a word.

When someone uses it you can tell them to not be a twat and use regardless instead, but if you say it's not a word you're wrong. If you try to act like they're dumb for using it because they should know it's not a word, you're a douche who shouldn't believe everything he reads on the internet. It's over 100 years old and in the most respected English dictionary, it doesn't get much more being a word than that.

  3. Irregardless, it's still an excellent way to get me to instantly lose interest in what you're saying.

    "a nonstandard or humorous usage"

Humorous because it sounds completely retarded.

I get what you're saying and am totally not interested in arguing about it. I will cut you, motherfucker.

  4. Irregardless of the usage.

    I couldn't careless.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  6. I can't wait for Opaque to defend the virtue of "ain't."

  7. The only thing that's coming across as retarded in here is the person who's getting so bent out of shape over nothing.
...because without the bitter, baby, the sweet ain't as sweet.

  8. I appreciate how a thread about one of the worst directors known to history making a version of the Ninja Turtles has devolved into an English debate. I'm grabbing the snacks and watching this shit play out.
bastard of the new world order.

  9. Oh, c'mon. "Ain't" is just good old fashioned fun.
...because without the bitter, baby, the sweet ain't as sweet.

  10. I ain't defending the virtue of anything. Irregardless these things are still words.
