They probably think the first movie was shitty too, and this is the most logical thing to do, given the first show
What with the new cartoon doing so well, I'm surprised they want to shoot it in the head by making a bad movie.

I still like and own it. I think it holds up fairly well, considering.

I enjoyed it.
You'd probably have to not like the IP to not like the movie. It was no worse than anything else that came out at the time.
Of course, the people who green light new movies probably hate all this stuff.

I hated it because the foot ninjas weren't robots and there was no Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, or Technodrome.
Gas, it was a serious film.

I hated the third one and the fuedal Japan settings but then again I haven't seen it in ages so maybe I'll like it more these days.
