Coop has never been anything other than a game-wrecker in survival horror. This will be no different. It might be a competent action game, but it won't be a good horror game if it has a 2 player mode.

Bah! It's never horror after the first 20 minutes you play. You get used to everything and jump scares don't count as horror. I'm all about co-op games and by adding a second person you could come up with some interesting scenarios. I hope they have a lot of parts where you split up to accomplish different objectives and different attack/defend set pieces. Sounds like they put a lot of time into it as you can play the entire game solo for the tried and true experience and co-op for a new experience that is quite a bit different. From what I read co-op isn't just the AI character being taken over by another player. Sounds awesome to me.

There was a game series on PS2 called Obscure. It sucked from what I remember.

I think I've heard of it, but don't really remember anything about it GUESS IT LIVED UP TO ITS NAME HURR DURR Looking it up, it seems like the major issue was single-screen co-op which does sound pretty horrible.

But i thought Journey was supposed to be good. That doesnt sound like RE Outbreak at all.
