See, I don't think The Avengers had that problem (Loki's massively popular)

Like 95% of Loki's fame is people on the internet masturbating to the actor's looks and off-screen personality. I've almost never seen anyone discuss Loki in that movie aside from when he told people to kneel and got thrown around by the Hulk.

But yeah, Avengers was tons of alien clones, Avengers 2 will be tons of Ultron clones, and this movie was tons of undead clones. I'm hoping Avengers 3 will be only Thanos, since the other storylines in the comics were filled with generic dudes but in Infinity Gauntlet the only cannon fodder were the heroes, thanks to Adam Warlock.

Adam Warlock looks so dumb and his name is also dumb. The Avengers 3 better take LOTS of liberties from that original comic.

They need to for a lot more than just Adam. It's a fun comic but it would make a terrible movie if it closely adhered to the source.

The Infinity Watch were an awful bunch of assholes in the Infinity Gauntlet comic, they should be replaced with these assholes pretty easily.

I loved this movie so damn much. so much fun. i honestly liked Batistas Drax more than i thought i would. And Rocket was for me, the best part of the movie. so much personality it just oozed off the screen. And i want a Groot plant to dance to Jackson 5 for me. I had no real problem with Ronin as a bad guy, thats pretty much how he is in the comics so i was expecting it. I liked Kerry Gillan as Nebula more than Zoe as Gamora. And Yondu was indeed awesome as fuck. So...who is star lords dad? So far the consenus ive seen is Either Adam Warlock or the Beyonder. What ya'll think?

Made it to the navy base hours away from me to catch this in a ghetto theatre but still had a great picture and what a found to be an enjoyable summer blockbuster type of movie. Made me think that it would be Star Wars for the current generation of kids. Love that Star Lord always mentions 80's stuff as his frame of reference and reminds me of people from my hometown where he is supposedly from. James Gunn representing!

BTW, We're all Kevin Bacon.
