HR6, with diablo 3, wow, and me getting back into skyrim, MH3 has turned into a "when i go over my girls" game.
But as for weapons.
Gunlance with High Rank Ice Agnaktor Set when i go against things that have stuff i cant block, like gigginox poison mist.I upgraded it so it has g rank armor rating.comes with Guard up, Guard +1. gemmed it for Guard +2 and fast sharpen.Put Auto Guard charm on it. And Barroth for when i just want to murder them. come with guard +1, artillery king, constitution +1. gemmed it for Arillery Master.
Hammer,Switch Axe, Double Blade. Volvidon right now, evasion +2, and 2 skills that are worthless. Barrioth has evasion, constitution,ice atk up, crit draw. and 6 points to handicraft.
bow, i havnt really made one. i was all about the bow in unite. solo'ed everything. 3rdG was all hammer and double sword. now its all Gunlance and Hammer. and Switch Axe.
im looking forward to checking out that new charge axe and bug staff. i heard its op as bloody hell.

Only got to HR2 before I decided to finish ZombiU.

I did a quick look at bows, and people were recommending the Wroggi Revolver as a starter. I got it, and liked it at first, but the upgrades are so pathetic. went from 120 damage to 132, to 144 I think? The next upgrade needs high rank mats, and I can't believe I'm expected to use this until then. It's so slow. I can't get used to the arc shot underwater, which doesn't help.

Also, not being able to cut tails really bugs me.

Anyway, just like the last game, there are rank 100+ people just hanging out online who love killing low monsters.. rushing would be super easy, but even though I say I'm going to do it I keep getting distracted by the single player stuff. Oh well.

If anyone here actually wants to play, we should pick an evening. The WiiU kind of sucks with no friend notifications, so I never even know when people are online.

There are friend notifications - but kinda lame. They only show up when you hit the Home button.

this is why mh4 needs to come here.I've a good amount of the videos showing online and it's really good.not a lot of lash from the players and the monsters.I remember in monster hunter on ps2, the monsters would stay jumping around everywhere.good that hilarious and another at the same time

Only the main monsters are synced in multi, at least up to Tri. All the minions are in different places for different people.

good lord if i dont fight another barioth it wont be too soon. had to slaughter like 15 of the fuckers just to get everything fro my barioth evasion set. he can kiss my ass.
