Thread: Saints Row IV

  1. #31
Confirmed, as long as it's Saboteur

I lost interest in all three of them but I did like Saboteur the most.

  3. Deny. SR 3 is fun.

  4. If you want to screw around in the world Crackdown is great. If you want a great time through story mode then SR3. I haven't played Saboteur.

Crackdown is my favourite of those. It's really a sandbox game in the truest sense. There aren't even any missions beyond "the gang bosses are somewhere around these locations. Go kill them." I couldn't stand The Saboteur. And Saints Row The Third is a major step back from Saints Row 2 in nearly every way. It's not a terrible game, but the best part of the game is the story missions - when they aren't just repurposed side activities.

  6. I really didn't like Saints Row 3. Like bVork said it was a major step back from the second game.

Going by the character creator this game looks like the laziest of cash ins, which is disappointing - but kind of expected, since it was fast-tracked in a last ditch effort to save THQ.

  7. You people have lost your minds. SR3 is second only to Red Dead in the open world genre.

  8. Oh yeah, I beat RDR also. Still, it takes a lot for an Open World game to make me sit through and play the story. I enjoy messing around more in those types of games.

  9. Next Gen RDR better be the next Rockstar game.

  10. Damn right.
