No, he meant you can press start and skip each cutscene.
A lot of the game is Start>Skip Cutscene. If there's a menu option to skip them all, this is relevant to my finishing-the-game interests!

No, I meant there's an option in the menu that's something like 'no cinema mode'.
So you get a coin in the amazon and just keep going.
I think it unlocks after beating the game once.
