  6. Error's right. Avengers and all the movies leading up to it (except arguably Hulk) were light-hearted Saturday morning cartoons, just in live action and with huge budgets. Iron Man 3 was a PTSD drama with robot suits.

  7. It wasn't even serious as far as comic book movies go, and certainly no more so than the first Iron Man.

  8. The only Marvel movie that seems like it might have more of an edge to it is The Winter Soldier but otherwise yeah they're all light hearted fare.

    Nothing wrong with that I guess but you definitely know what you're getting.

  10. But since it's comic books some of the fans will make preposterous comparisons to legitimately good movies. Remember when people were saying The Dark Knight was up there with Heat and the Godfather for crime movies? Good times.
