Thread: Gettin' Freeky! or The Freekstyle Thread

  1. Gettin' Freeky! or The Freekstyle Thread

I got it a little bit ago and like it a lot.

It's been found wanting in a few areas when compared to SSX. The caracter interaction is drivvel, the characters have no bios, and, I don't know, maybe the SSX characters just seems so much more a part of the game. They had bios, personalities, rivalries, and all kinds of style. Freekstyle, though a great moto cross game, is a bit lacking in the character department.

    Thoughts?

  2. I rented this game and despise it based on the fact that the gameplay is non-existant and the computer opponents always stay in the same general area as you no matter how good or bad you're doing. The presentation of the game on the otherhand is quite well done as are all EA Big games.

  3. I rented this game and I thought it was kinda poopy. I hate the way the A.I. racers cheat. I cant stand HAVING to constantly use turbo just to win. Why cant ALL racing games just do away with turbo! Its ok if used well like in Fzero snes and Excitebike 64 but most other games force you to use it to stay ahead. I just want to race and win with my driving skills. Another thing that I hated was the fact you had to race a course 3 times in a row just to progress and open up the next course! Its a RACING game, we need more than 6 race courses. Also some of the tracks were just to friggin long. Its ok with SSX cause you only go 1 lap but in Freek you go umm I cant remember I think it was 3. Race for 15mins straight and lose right at the end cause the damn cheating A.I. is right on your ass and you didnt use your turbo. SCREW THIS GAME.
