Just got Metroid Prime in the free bin at 2nd and Charles, and used $9 in credit to get MGS 3: Subsistence. Yeah, I could just get it on one of the PS3 collections, but I'd like to use my old save data for this.

I never did, for the most part. Can't buy every game when you're a kid with no money.

This. I played most everything when I was a kid thanks to borrowing/renting, but I really didn't have but a few games until I got a job.

I didn't own a snes or nes as a kid. And I think Last Battle was the only gen game I ever sold.

Also since I've never had a good backpack for San Diego Comic Con, I got a new backpack, the Alienware Orion M17x. It arrived just in time to bring it with me to Phoenix Comic Con yesterday. I was pretty impressed with the comfort, the amount of compartments and features. It was a bit pricey but I feel it was worth it.

Also ordered a new camera, the Canon SX 500 IS 16. That didn't arrive in time for the con yesterday but I am pretty excited to give it a whirl when it arrives.
