Now that I think about it, I wonder if Sony's stance creates some kind of breaking point in the upcoming situation.

Either certain big publishers side against Sony for not giving them used-game restriction/lockout (hopefully not), or publishers support Sony no problem and Microsoft is forced to remove their self-imposed restrictions to create a competitive product.

They will side with whomever has the user base. Looks like that will be Sony.

On the one hand, I understand a publisher's desire to steal away the runaway profits of Gamestop and other trade-in retailers. On the other, however, we've seen just how much infrastructure and consumer limitation implementing that kind of profit-sharing is required to make it a reality. Transparent greed sure does look ugly though.

I thought they had an extremely dense packing of great games, and then they sick burned the shit out of a rival. They even showed Tekken during the opening montage.
