After 40 years of Ebert spoiling the movie for them, studios felt like wtf, we might as well do it ourselves.
How to spoil Game of Thrones:
Everyone you like dies. The end.
Feel free. I couldn't care less.
You're assuming that knowledge of the ending of Ender's game "spoils" the movie. I reject this assumption.
Ender's Game is about more than just the ending. I remember learning about the ending to Ender's Game long before I read the book. It was in my freshman year of high school, in English class. My friend Aaron chose Ender's Game as the subject of his book report and recounted the plot of the book. Including the ending. It was necessary for him to reveal the ending to the book in order to intelligently discuss the book's plot, characterization, and themes. Indeed, in order to intelligently discuss just about any literary work it is necessary to discuss the ending.
I didn't actually read Ender's Game till college, and I devoured the entire book in one sitting. It was no less enjoyable because I knew the ending. This is because it is a good book with a strong story that does not depend entirely on the twist for its entertainment value.

And yet weren't you all about the Polito/SHODAN twist in SS2 (or maybe you weren't? I don't remember)? I just beat the game, and while it was beyond amazing, I couldn't help but think how much more satisfying the twist would have been if I didn't already know about it, or actually figured it out for myself while playing.
Mzo didn't ruin the movie, but he probably removed some degree of potential enjoyment from the experience.

Are they? Old trailers would show every major moment from the movie. Someone posted the trailer for Dr. No a little bit ago and it was straight up the Cliff Notes version of the film, right down to showing every fight and the ending. If anything, current trailers are only better about hiding that they're showing everything.
Don't they actually show Dr. No straight-up drowning in the radioactive water in that trailer?
