Thread: The Wonderful 101 (Wii U), directed by Hideki Kamiya

  1. Yes. Like with Pikmin 3 and other upcoming Nintendo games, you can immediately toggle between TV and Off-TV play by pressing the (-) select button. There's also a picture-in-picture Off-TV display mode for certain second screen situations.

  2. New Wii U owners: This is 30 bucks at Target and Gamestop as of today. Will probably by PMed by Amazon at some point.

  3. If you own a Wii U, and still don't buy this at 30 bucks I hate you.

  4. I hated the demo, chances I'll still like the full game? Because $30 has always been my sweet spot for Platinum developed games.

  5. Truth be told, the demo does a disservice to the game as a whole. It's still one of the earlier parts of the game, where a lot of the fun with multiple Unite Morphs hasn't been implemented yet.

  6. I forgot, is there co-op to this?

  7. There's a rather forgettable co-op mode. It's a series of Missions from the Special Missions mode where up to 5 people can split the 100 heroes.

  8. Can't do the main story?

  9. Nope. I'm not sure there would have been a good way to do it without developing the campaign around that feature. It probably could have benefited from a Mario Galaxy style "Helper" second player to collect O-parts or tickle robot armpits or something.

  10. Oh well =(
