You know that Genesis controllers work on the SMS, right? There is an odd game that doesn't work with it, but I use a 6 button genesis pad for sms gaming, I don't even own a sms controller.

A couple SMS memories:

-remember Target having a full aisle of Master System games (all those stark white boxes), everywhere else had like four games total for NES, Atari, and SMS.

-fell in love with Phantasy Star 2 on Genny and placed a wanted ad for PS 1 in the local paper. Dude sold me a complete copy for $10 <3

- found a game store with dozens of SMS games in high school. Bought Golden Axe Warrior with plans of returning next pay day. Place burned down, no shit.

Nope. Very similar though. Psycho Fox was basically a sequel with a different IP.

Wonder Boy in Monster Land doesn't work with the stock controller. However, just open it and clip the gray wire and it becomes a MS controller. Works fine with every game!

Yeah, I think Bomber Raid and Penguin Land don't work with a Genny pad either, but it's usually fine, especially since he just wants something for a second player.
