A youtuber did a playthrough that clocked in at around 5 Hours, including deaths. Ready at Dawn was SO NOT FAZED by it that they issued a statement.
I agree that a 1.5 hour long movie isn't going to magically be better if it were cut to a 9 Hour edit. He then goes on to this."I know there are numbers out there," he said. "I know why the question comes up. I know numbers have been put out there that are actually not right. It's impossible to finish the game in that time, so we know the numbers are wrong.

Which makes no sense, because I think Korly is the only person I know who plays the campaign on CoD and just drops it. The Order has no multiplayer. There shouldn't be anything to comment on. There is absolutely nothing inherently wrong with a less-than-ten-hour single player game, and multiplayer does not inherently add value.
So then don't address it. He addressed and rationalized it. If he believed nothing was wrong he wouldn't have gone that far.
I agree the story will probably be great, the game short and lackluster but I've played plenty of those games as well.
I'll let you know Friday, barring some catastrophic advance reviews citing actual gameplay issues.

Well someone check the temperature in hell cause I actually agree with Yoshi here. Everything doesn't need to be minimum x-number of hours to be good. As long as its enjoyable I'm ok with a less than 10 hour single player game. I get so little gaming time any more I'm excited by the prospect that I'll probably finish this game in a week or two instead of taking months(for me).

I have no problem whatsoever with a short full priced game.
That said, this game doesn't look good.
