it's best experienced in a room of people screaming at each other (it's most fun with kids that are reasonably good at the game, but if you're like 30 and posting personals requesting kids to play Mario with, someone is going to probably call the police) (i'm sad that those kids i used to babysit are too old for a babysitter now)

Oh hell no. No God damned vegetable, bitch, or whore-a-saurus is a suitable replacement. Good thing this shit is coming in 2013. Let's get a real 3D Mario game ready for the best Nintendo year ever.Originally Posted by Motokura

Gimme a good price at Black Friday on that Marios Bunduru and I might get your dumb game box, Nintendo!
It was $250 on eBay via Buy.com for that bundle.
Some of the level design in Sunshine was just pure annoying and stupid. Though the levels without the jetpack were some of my favorite Mario platforming to ever be in a mario game, so I guess there was some really good mixed in with stuff I hated in that one. But I totally agree about having a game with levels more in vein of 64/Sunshine. NSMBU just didn't do anything for me, no matter how many times I have tried to finish it.

For me these different Mario games are just that, different. I don't even necessarily like one style more than the other, I just want the variety. It's been over ten years since a Mario game came out where you free roamed a large level that changed based on which star you were going for. I want more of that but with the Galaxy quality and variety of obstacles.
I'm about four worlds 100% at this point and I've done their corresponding Star world's and I just can't get enough. This is the best 2D Mario I've ever played.
As of right now it's the Galaxy 2 of the 2D games.
