Easily my favourite Mario Kart to date, something about the track design, and the controls just clicks with me. Feels kinda arcadey as well which surprised me. Got all 90 stamps, beat all the time trial staff ghosts, 3 starred every GP and CC and unlocked all the kart parts apart from the Golden Glider which requires 10,000 coins to unlock. Only up to about 3,000 at the moment I think. Haven't grown tired of it even after playing it exclusively for the last few days, which is a good sign. Feel like I've got a good enough grasp of all the tracks to play online now, so I'll be looking forward to playing competitively.
But yeah, picked up the WiiU bundle for this and it hasn't dissapointed. Still got Super Mario 3D World & Monster Hunter 3 to play through too!

Just picked this up last night. Gonna take it for a spin (har har) right now. I was ever-so-slightly disappointed in MK7, but my hopes are up.

That's a really dumb way to skew the numbers. If something costs $400 and you buy it with a gift card or with reward points or store credit it's still a $400 purchase. You could have used that credit on a number of other things and you chose not to so now you have less credit. It's still an expenditure.
I'll agree with this, but he's going to come back and say that he bought his PS4 with credit card points. Point Catalogs are the worst fucking thing in the world, so the fact that he's using the Sony one, which only gives entertainment options meant that he did it right.
You're dead on with the gift card thing though.
