Started DmC. So far it's pretty good.

Also fired up the Megaton DN3D port. I guess Shadow Warrior is getting the same treatment (that's why the current one is F2P on Steam). I love me some DN3D.

Remembered I bought Tomb Raider so I decided to give it a whirl. Played like an hour, it's a fun little movie so far.

I like how turning on TressFX drops my fps from 50 to 7. EXTREME HAIR BRINGS MY SYSTEM TO ITS KNEES

Besides, whose hair looks that great under those conditions?

The Japanese version does support it, but it's way too sensitive. I'm pretty good at Daytona and I was bouncing off the walls the whole time.

Doesn't the CCE version let you tweak the sensitivity? I thought it did. Regardless, there's no reason you should even have to. All Sega needed to do was redo the original's graphics and add the new tracks. The control was perfect.

That's the usual drop I read, even from people with the same video card as me. No idea why I lose an extra 20fps or so.

The settings don't seem to do much in analog mode, but using the regular digital controller set to "quick" yields the best results and makes it feel almost right. I'm going to keep playing.

ATI cards ran a lot better than nvidia at the beginning with TressFX. Did you update your drivers?
