It's probably very close to that. I don't think repeated viewings are really a factor outside of once-in-a-decade freaks like Titanic .

I still can't believe Titanic spent something like 3 months at #1. No movie does that.
A lot of people were excited for the first godzilla movie in...how many years?
Assuming a $7 average ticket price, that's a bit over 51 million people wanting to see Godzilla, with very little else opening when it did.
In fact, according to http://www.businessinsider.com/godzi...weekend-2014-5, almost $200 million was made its opening weekend. I've always heard movies tend to drop off by 50% each week that goes by. The math is there.
I'm not saying no one saw it twice. But I'm saying it's probably kinda inconsequential to its overall box office.
I've yet to see Godzilla '85
It's been ten years since the last Godzilla movie (Final Wars, in 2004).
Dolemite, the Bad-Ass King of all Pimps and Hustlers
Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww
I enjoy Godzilla a lot more than I thought I would. That kick, holy shit, was awesome. I would totally watch the last 20 minutes of this movie again.
