lol. I still have mine. sell sell sell.
The worst for me was lending a game I didn't particularly care for, Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, to someone I barely knew in college. Never followed up on it and forgot about it until years later, it's rare and expensive. Ugh.
I also sold off a lot of weird games a few years back on here. Looking back I have no idea why I would sell the games I got rid of. I really liked them all. Of course they all increased in value.

lol. I still have mine. sell sell sell.
Electronics Boutique credit for Ghost in the Shell. I have no idea why I'd get rid of that one and keep some of the stuff I still have.

Usually fine with the stuff I've sold, have no clue why I got rid of Wild Guns. Loved that game.
I just remembered that I did trade SNES Might and Magic 3 in to the local store in exchange for Slam City with Scottie Pippen for the 32x. Dumb.
If done today, those would be a pretty much equal trade value wise. Gameplay wise? I'd rather have Slam City (or M&M on a pc.)
Can anyone explain this auction to me?

I don't see any particularly special games and the overall condition seems to suck. So I don't get why it went for so much.
Knuckles Chaotix I guess? Yeah, doesn't seem to be worth $200 all together.
When the Saturn had that surprise launch I was 14 and I went nuts wanting one. A few months later I talked my parents into letting me trade in most of my video game collection at the time so I could go grab a Saturn and whatever games I wanted.
I boxed up my entire collection. All my systems were complete in box and in near perfect condition. They included Master System 2, Genesis 1, Sega CD top loader, 32X and a Game Gear (The GB pocket was the only system and games I kept) plus around a dozen CiB accessories for all the systems. I also brought along all my games for those systems (except GG, some of those went to my siblings), which included damn near every RPG and Strategy game you could think of. I had almost all the Working Designs Sega CD games, every Phantasy Star and Shining Force, Snatcher, etc. All in I brought along around 80 games (all CiB). My dad drove me to the local EB and I was offered less than half the Sega Saturn's total cost in trade. This seemed absurd to me even at the time so I reluctantly told them no way and carried all the boxes back to the car. A couple of days later I found out about a local chain store that I had never been to so we packed it all up again and made our way to that side of town. That store offered me enough for a new system with an extra controller and 2 extra games. After my trip to EB this seemed like a fantastic deal. My dad tried to talk me out of it but I wouldn't listen.
I was bummed just a couple of months later when I was bored with my 3 games.
