I've also read that someone used a joystick mapping program to assign keyboard directions to his d pad to have digital control.

I don't have a PS4/One or a PC that runs games that well so my main options are either the 360/PS3 versions or just wait until I get a current gen console.

Based on the demo the game runs just fine on the 360 at 30fps but I just wanted to know if there was a enough of a disparity between the current and last gen consoles to make a difference. I suppose I can just wait it out for a sale on the 360 Strider in the meantime.

I got it on PC

I have to play it in 800x600 with all the effects off on my laptop with 8GB of ram and reasonably new radeon otherwise it runs at 15fps, PC Gaming
