Or how about a Batman movie that, sure, has its share of action, but is mainly focused on having him live up to the name of "World's Greatest Detective."
In fact, make that the title.
I've heard people say Batman isn't a superhero because he has no super powers. Except for super hyper unrealistic intellect used to basically carte blanche solve puzzles, ungodly ability to fabricate machines including physics bending ones like the Batwing, off the charts intuition and detective abilities, unstoppable precision with hand to hand weaponry, ability to biometrically synthesize antidotes and cures to villains groundbreaking diseases or viruses and super agility to swing around the city with a grappling hook.
Batman is just as OP as Superman is. He just gets away with it because introvert assholes like to identify with his content mean-mugging broody nature.
The mundane superhero movie people are talking about here sounds awful BTW. The Avengers was terrific and it had alien invasions. GotG too and dude tried to kill a planet. It's all in the subtleties of the writing that make or break these stories. Deadpool worked because the writing made sense but even it was just some damsel in distress bs.

Dude, the old live action tv batman and BTAS bars were pretty nice guys. The first two Burton batman's were a touch silly too.
What are you even talking about? 90's comic shit trying to out edge spawn? Later justice League stuff that had turned him into a dark humorless ass?
Have you seen the episode where Harley and ivy force him to go shopping?
