Is the 7800 version of Crack'ed any good?
It's coming next month: August 10-11, at Jackie Gaughan's Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Several exclusive releases will be available, including the fabled Crack'ed for Atari 2600.
Anyone planning on attending this year's convention? Has anyone been to past conventions?
If my workload isn't too heavy that weekend, I'll probably attend.

If the 7800 version is anything like the Atari XE version, then yes, it's good. But the Atari ST version is definitely the best.
Here's the link to the official CGExpo site, if anyone's interested: http://www.cgexpo.com/

I hope to make it this year, but it totally depends on what's up w/ work. There may be another press event in Vegas early that month, so I might be able to tag CGE onto that. *crosses fingers*
I may be going, my mother loves Las Vegas and she hasn't been since last year's CGE, and she could really use a break.
And in case your wondering sleeve, yeah, I've been there, was there last year. If your an owner of just about any Atari video game system ever released, you'll love the place. They have ALL KINDS of Atari shit there, from 2600 to Jaguar stuff. NGFUSA is also present their, so you can get your fill of some decently-priced Neo Geo AES and MVS carts. Thats about it though, not much for other systems really, and very little imports. But its still a great trip, if only to play an original Dragon's Lair machine set on free credits![]()
omg TNL epics!
man, we never get any conventions like this in wisconsin...![]()
well... we do, but it's mostly biased on guns.![]()
don't wanna tangle with you, I'd rather tangle with him.
I think I'm gonna bash his head in...
I was there last year. Anything that you could ever want for anything Atari was there. It was quite a bit of fun, though I spent most of my time at NGF's booth playing Garou: MotW and Money Puzzle Exchange on their MVS candy cab.
This is a long shot, but are any of you the Asian guy who I was playing with most of the time?
One last thing: check through the booklet that is given to you when you enter. Last year one booth was appearently selling a Lynx game for $.01(Batman I think), but I didn't find out until I read the book after the show.
I'm not attending, but my 5200 Homebrew will be courtesy of the AtariAge.com guys:

Have fun there!
Sounds like someone's never been to the Midwest Classic.Originally posted by unit003
