For the record, I might take Wilson over half the NFL QBs too though.
I'm not going to bag on Wilson. The guy is good. He was awesome at Wisconsin but that kind of play doesn't translate to the NFL very well. I would take him over half the NFL QBs.
They wouldn't have won shit with Romo. He chokes in big games.

Cowboys are consistently one of the most talented teams in the league. Dez Bryant is a top-3 WR in the NFL.
Sorry but I'm not buying this. Not talking about Romo's poor games and screw-ups that cost them (the fumbled snap, the turds he dropped in win-and-youre-in games the past few seasons) - there's something missing there. He has a big arm and can make plays but I cannot see him with a ring.
I'm not saying he is better or worse than Wilson but Wilson is still young. Romo is who he is.
At the skill positions... when Murray is healthy.
And too stupid to play the X-receiver position, so he had to move after hurting his team in multiple games last year.Dez Bryant is a top-3 WR in the NFL.
Yes, an offensive line, a consistent running game, and a defense that would give him more short fields.Sorry but I'm not buying this. I can see almost anyone with a ring. Flacco and Roethlisberger are barely average NFL QBs, but they have them, because the position only take son this huge importance idiots want to assign it when there are other glaring weaknesses that have to be overcome. He has a big arm and can make plays but I cannot see him with a ring.
His GM is who he is.I'm not saying he is better or worse than Wilson but Wilson is still young. Romo is who he is.
edit: I think Jerry looks at his team the same way you do. He sees all the big names and doesn't realize that none of the glue is there to help make them consistently successful.

Patrick Willis is 100% right about this. The NFL is safety first, as long as it's marquee and marketable positions like QBs and WRs. Goodell couldn't care less about defensive linemen.

Joe Flacco also had a virtually flawless postseason last year (11 TDs/0 INTs, 117.2 QB Rating), and I don't see Romo putting together 4 games like that back-to-back. I just don't.
Every team is different. Some teams put more weight on their QB than others. Packers can't win with a mistake-prone QB like Favre at the end of his career. Put 2000 Dilfer on the Packers and they win 6 games probably. Giants were able to win because they just needed Eli to fling to his stud WRs every once in a while while the defense holds down the fort.
Cowboys put a lot of weight on Romo's shoulders and he can't do it. Evidence: his entire career.
Let's go Bengals!
He's 11-1 or some shit in November the last three years.
Every team is different, but there is a bare minimum level of support any QB needs to win games, unless they're playing the Jets.Every team is different.
