Jim shouldn't know young Bruce. That's the main thing that irritates me. Jim saying we'll find the guy who did this to Bruce makes no fucking sense. Bruce/Batman should hate Jim when he grows up for not ever finding him.

Origins of everything. Bruce's adolescence, he leaves the city and comes back years later. Presumably the last shot of the series would be putting on the suit. Gordon is the focal point. So when Bruce is gone we'd see the villains digging into the city, become what the become in the books. Shit like Joker and Penguin's rivalry could be shown.
