Thread: What's Out in November 2013?

  1. Absolutely.
I have enough unopened games on my shelves that I could easily pick one game a week to open and play, and not have to buy a new game for at least half a decade.
Even if we were to discount the entirety of my hall of shame, I don't have the time to game that I once did. An 8 hour game could take me over a month to complete.

I resemble this remark, though I finish roughly two games a month and play probably twice that many. Of course, I probably buy twice that still. This shitty release lineup will actually help there. The new consoles seem to have obliterated the number of promising releases over the next nine months at least. I'm sure E3 will strengthen 3/4Q 2014's lineup.

    That's back to this though:

    Indeed

  5. Glad we agree.
So yes. 9 MUST HAVE, AAA (quality, not budget) GAMES a year would be quite sufficient.
Especially when I don't have to invest an extra $400 or more to play them.

  6. I wouldn't be mad if games stopped getting made for two years. I have so many that I haven't played and a lot more that I haven't given enough time to.

  7. Just pretend they're not. They'll wait.

  8. Super Mario World, Zelda, Ghosts, and Ys

  9. On PS4, GF's getting Killzone so I'll probably play through that. She might also get Resogun so I'll give it a shot but I don't think that'll be very good. I might be curious enough about Knack to rent it.

I'd like an Xbox One with Crimson Dragon and Dead Rising 3 (these look more interesting than the launch PS4 games), but I don't think I'll pick one up yet.

Super Mario 3D World looks sick. I'm excited for that.

Ys: Memories of Celceta is a game that I'm planning on playing but I don't know if I'll get to it any time soon. I need to play Ys Origins first, at the very least.

I'll pick up 3D Space Harrier and 3D Super Hang-On for novelty, most likely. A Link Between Worlds looks bad but I'll check out the reactions very carefully.

I don't know much at all about AquaPazza but I like messing around with new fighting games, so that's a maybe.

XCOM was great and I never beat it due to Iron Man, so I'll probably get XCOM: Enemy Within before giving it a second shot. That'll be down the line though.

  10. 3DS

November 22, 2013 The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (Day 1)
    November 28, 2013 3D Space Harrier (Day 1)

    PS3

    November 12, 2013 DuckTales Remastered (Day 1!)
