How can you people have problems with the control?! Has any 3D platformer done it better? No. You see you have to tilt the stick where you want him to go. Same with the camera, just move the stick! I have gotten it hung up maybe twice, plus no 3D platformer has ever had a perfect camera, I don't see it possiable. Also I don't see why you people think its super hard, I have had it since tuesday and have 80 shines, the bosses are a little to easy if you ask me. Um what else, oh and how can anyone say this is not like Mario 64? It plays just like it, only with a water pack. As for shooting things, hey why not point your self at the enemy and press R, or just click it in and aim. Also WATER IS EVERY WHERE! IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANY YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON!

Oh and one more thing, this is the greatest game of all time.

And....hehehehehe...if anyone wants to bitch about control, how many of you like other 3D platformers? Any of em? Because I'm sure I could point out plenty of flaws in any of em. But you know what? I don't use those as reason to go 'oh, I hate this game.' Unless the situation is intolerable. And Sunshine's camera, controls, et al are far from intolerable.

For you maybe. Have fun. I didn't. SMS has the worst controls of any 3D platformer I've sat down with... hmmm... right up there with Rascal.....

But whatever, I'm just a stupid f*cker for being a bling Nintendo fanboy who sucks on Mario's d*ck every five seconds. Oh wait, I don't. But I'm sure that'll be someone's defense in regards to me explaining what I think is a great game.

By no means. Love the game if you want. I hated it. But so what? I finally tried ED (for those who don't know) and turns out I did hate it as much as I thought I would. And I hate the GC controller period. I'd be stupid to say those things to you when I love the XB controller and like a game like Bruce Lee (both of which are pretty unpopular on this board).

Bingo. It wasn\'t broke, in fact, it was perfection. SMS is quite the opposite IMO.

Just got the game today. It feels like Mario 64 (which isn't necessarily bad). Some problems with clipping and hit detection (one example when the water wheel thingie spins and the teeth goes right through Mario if he's standing in front of it). Cleaning up all that goop can get tedious but I'll keep coming back for more shines. I'm not reading the other posts so far for fear of spoilers. Off I go back to Mario Sunshine! BTW, Liquid Mario is such a cool villain.

Well, I've had it since Wednesday and have 67 shines so far. I love it myself, but it is quite harder than Mario 64 was. Which is good and bad. I like a challenge, but sometimes I get a bit impatient with waiting and screw up and down I go into the abyss...*shrugs*
I like it myself. I haven't done an all day game fest like I did yesterday with Mario...

Only an HOUR?! Considering half of the first hour is cutscenes, how could you even pass judgement on the game? Maybe you think the controls suck because you suck at the controls. I thought Sunshine kinda sucked when I played it, but I soon realized that good things come to those who wait.
