The cages bothered me...once. The fludd controls bothered me for...a minute.
Has anyone used the move where you hang by a line and use fludd to swing you around and then you let go? Thats the only move I have trouble with.

Clash - The cage at Pinna Park was meant to be obnoxious, so I accept it. I was referring to the button differences in the gate flipping. Not a large problem, but a bit annoying.
Green - I completely forgot about the line spin! I don't think it's really used for anything important, though.
The line spin comes in handy on a few parts. If you time it right and get spinning as fast as possible you can go really far (esp. if you hover too). But it's hard to use. It seems more like luck to land/grab where you want. I used on the first level to get the red coins along those lines (that are like 100ft in the air). I went from a lower line to a higher line that otherwise would have been very hard to jump to, and a total pain in the ass to walk around to.
Fun move, but hard to use effectivly.
I always confuse myself when trying to go through the gates. It sucks when you hit the wrong button and instead of flipping the cage door, you fall off.
And EThugg is just being EThugg. I'm surprised it took everyone so long to put the Thugg Blinders (tm) on. When he gets like that there is no point in going on about it.

Hmmmm, I hope "red coins of the pirate ships" is not a good example of how this game becomes difficult. That's about as unfun as it gets right there. If this is representative of what's to come, then my opinion's going to make a slight u-turn.
no, the pirate ship is not the idea of how difficult things get. That's just annoying.
A better idea of difficult...there's a hotel and one of the Shine objectives include finding a pineapple to feed a Yoshi egg. There's nary a pineapple to be found in lobby fruitshop, so it takes semi-detective work and a creative way of thinking to find it. And that's not how all of the later levels reflect difficulty, but just one shade of it.
Sorry, just frustrated at that level right now. The combination of lots of things obscuring the camera, the rotating, and Mario's tendency to "jack hammer" (an annoying lil bug that returns, hoped they'd fix that) there alot is really pissing me off![]()
Wait till you get to the part in the amusement park where you have to climb cages in the back. That was the worst part of the game for me.

I still wonder about the one Hero mentioned. I could not figure it at all until I looked at a FAQ. Was there any sane way of getting it besides going around butt stomping everywhere? Seems more like one of those WTF things to me. Ah well.
