The VGX, which are the reincarnation of the Spike TV Video Game Awards, are promising "exclusive new looks" at a number of games, including The Division, Titanfall, Quantum Break, The Witcher 3, Dying Light, Broken Age, and South Park: The Stick of Truth. In addition to all of this and some as-of-yet unannounced games, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will be in attendance to show off "an upcoming Wii U game," the identity of which is unclear at this point. Also scheduled for the VGX are an appearance from South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone, a one-night-only performance of music from Grand Theft Auto V, and the previously announced awards. We've also heard that there will be some sort of surprises from Titanfall developer Respawn and that a next-gen Tomb Raider could be announced.
The VGX are scheduled for this Saturday, December 7, at 6PM Eastern/3PM Pacific. Check back with IGN on Saturday for full coverage of the event along with breakdowns of what's announced and much more.
