There are some good Virtual Console games on there... now that they've started to re-release the Konami ones.
I made the mistake of redeeming the $50 card I picked up through the Wii U.
For some reason, I thought I had read that Nintendo finally merged the accounts...
Now I have to go buy another damn card for the 3DS :/
I should mark the calender and then see how long it takes for there to finally be something worth buying digitally for the WiiU. I have a feeling that $50 is going to sit there for a LONG time.

Sort of. I think it's very cheap to "upgrade" them, and then you can play them on the pad. I'm not sure if there are other benefits.

You just need to link your NNID from your Wii U to your 3DS. Once you do that it'll merge what ever money you have in your Wii U and 3DS eWallets.
