Um, Steel Diver Sub Wars is pretty amazing.

I hope I finish it before I get bored like I always do in JRPGs. The job system is really helping out in the "keep things interesting" department!

Civilization Revolution (360) - It was free. And I really like it. Won my first game with Culture, trying to invade people now.
South Park SoT (360) - So far, excellent on all fronts, except that I couldn't make my character a little redheaded girl. Well, not fully, anyhow.
Playing Strider now. It's wearing out it's welcome...
I just finished paying through Chrono Trigger for the first time in a while, it's still ridiculously good. Everything else now sucks in comparison.
Yeah, I did another run-through back in 2012 and was amazed by how fresh it still felt. It's been almost 20 years, and when I try to think of JRPGs that I would put on the level of Chrono Trigger (as in, games that remain as vivid in my mind), very few clear the bar.
Dragon Quest VIII, FFVII-IX, Star Ocean II... I mean, there have been a lot of solid ones, but how many can you place next to Chrono Trigger and say, "yeah, they're equally great."?

Hey, that would be a great game to play next.
It really would. It's the best of the old FF's, and the only one Square hasn't bastardized with a horrible rema... nevermind.
