Yeah. The sound wasn't emulated properly and is way, way off. I'm not fastidious when it comes to emulation or old games on new tech. I'm okay with PSX games on my PS3. I have a NES connected to my plasma TV via RF. But Chrono Trigger PSX is not something I can endure.

Yikes. Thank you for that. Now I'm actually leaning toward the iOS version. Given that it's a JRPG, the achievements should more than offset the suboptimal controls.

Read the reviews for the iOS port before picking it up. They're not encouraging.

Why the hell do you want achievements in fucking Chrono Trigger. Christ. Where did the DS copies go? I swear you'd trip over it like two weeks ago, now it's $60.

Um, Steel Diver Sub Wars is pretty amazing.

I have an SNES, but I wouldn't play it on there either. I need something I would be forced to play when my PC is not available to me.
