Nope. I have an unmodded PSP rotting in the closet, but that would be the closest thing.

Actually the gamepad might be acceptable. That's as good as the Vita for this purpose, since my Vita never leaves the house unless I am traveling anyway.

edit: Son of a bitch, it's not even on the STUPID, NON-UNIVERSAL WII U VC.

  3. I have a save file on some ps1 card somewhere with all of the CT endings done. The load times were so bad, but I kept playing it. So bad. Don't remember sound weirdness though.

I've been playing Spirit Tracks recently, because the fiancee has been hogging the 3ds for BD. I was at the last section right at the end of the game, but didn't even know how to play the game, so I restarted it. It's really a weird Zelda game, but I'm enjoying it.

Unless you bought and played pretty much every version as it was released (ahem), you're not going to know the difference anyways. Not everything needs to be "definitive." Some video games are just fine without a meaningless attaboy system telling you how good you are at video games. Just have fun.

This time spent splitting hairs is time wasted. You could be in the post-apocalyptic future by now.
Oh look, someone new to the forums.
Let me tell you about this Yoshi character. A genetic defect has actually made "Just have fun" when playing a game impossible for him UNLESS he's playing the definitive edition.
The disorder is so potent that if he were to play a game today and enjoy it, that enjoyment would be wiped from existence should a "better" version be released some time in the future. It would be as if it never existed. All those joys, zapped out of existence by a mere press release.

    I forgot Yoshi got a U.

And for the record, SNES games look AMAZING through the xrgb, except for MMX2 for some stupid reason, which still looks great in Wii mode.

To be fair, it looked like that on the original system as well.

  9. I don't know how you guys feel about indie games but you should really check this one out. My buddy and I made a murder mystery game based on Werewolf/Mafia (or similar to the SC2 mod Mafia if you have played that).

It is live, online and free to play.

We have had an awesome week so far. We are now at 71% on our Kickstarter funded and we got discovered by some pretty big YouTubers including TheRPGMinx. We pushed our new login system which now has 7000 registrations. In fact, we have gotten so big that Meg Turney (cosplayer, host at SourceFed) started playing our game. She is raving about it on her twitter and has said SourceFedNERD will be covering it in an upcoming indie-cent gaming video.

Let me know what you think of the game

  10. I'll play ANY game that Meg Turney plays!
