Empire released pics of the characters, Thing in particular looks pretty legit so props to them for that one.

The only redeeming quality of the previous version was Jessica Alba, so this looks like a total miss.

Except Jessica Alba was a pretty terrible Sue Storm, and I always thought she was hotter as a brunette.

I don't know, I think this is actually looking promising the more I see of it although the Dr. Doom changes are still very offputting.

I just can't get into the Fantastic Four. Even the Byrne and Waid runs which are held in fairly high regard do nothing for me. Of all the Marvel properties, FF always seemed the most DC to me. It's hard to explain, but some of you may understand it. So I hope this turns out well for the fans, but I won't be bothered to watch it.

Totally. FF works best as supporting characters inside of the wider Marvel U. Spider-Man needs something to fight Venom? Check in on Reed. Something cosmic happening? Call the FF.

I liked the She-Hulk run, in that there was an outsider running around to comment on these weirdos.

I've never read any of the She-Hulk run (and very little She-Hulk at all). I'll have to check that out sometime.

FF was the weakest of the original Ultimate universe run as well. I didn't hate it but it just wasn't as interesting as Spider-man, X-men or the Ultimates.
