Today's bit of news on the project comes from Collider who have an interview with Toby Kebbell, a great actor that is playing Doom, but not the one we know. Here's Kebbell in his own words:

They've taken on of the most bad ass villains of the Marvel universe who runs his own country, and made him a blogging programmer called Doom. I'm going to guess that this movie is a giant troll attempt.
