Yeah the single player is still the same quality as previous Trials. No issues there.

Agreed on everything you said. It's still my all time favorite racing game and pretty much the only reason that I don't get rid of my N64. I was always a Nigel "the duke" York guy myself.

Fuck Nintendo for never bringing this to the VC and also for never making a sequel.

Nigel's definitely got the best speed, but I prefer Ricky for his handling. Some of the later courses have some crazy corners.

I just realized over the weekend that Bobby "Big Dog" Malone is a black dude. I guess I never noticed in all those years of playing through an RF switch on a 13" TV. Most shocking helmet reveal since the original Metroid. I appreciate that a motocross racing game can have two white dudes, two chicks, and one black guy. I guess Excitebike 64 really put the "Left" in "Left Field Productions."

After researching the hell out of streaming media boxes, I have a PS3 for the first time. Losing tier includes the Ouya, Raspberry Pi, and the G-Box MX2.

It does awesome at Netflix and Amazon Prime, and it plays sneakynets downloads over the network from my desktop with no problems at all. Much better at this than the Wii was.

So of course the first actual game I get for it is CvS2.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is $10 these days, I understand?

Yes, MGS4 is dirt cheap these days, but you may also consider the Legacy Collection, which is a bit more expensive but has pretty much every Metal Gear game that's important in it including 4.
