This is my problem. If it were a traditional(ish) Kirby game I'd be all over it and we'd be playing it tonight. It's line running Kirby and I don't like that

  2. Traditional Kirby is Babby Kirby for Stupid Boring Babbies

    It's not really.

I'll find out who's lying and who's not lying for myself, but i guess if you think bros from Giant Bomb know what's best, that's your decision and i can't do anything about it except be very passive aggressive about it, i'm just kidding, i won't be passive aggressive i'll actively judge you because i hate you.
    Donk

It's not really but it also kind of is really.

  4. There's nothing wrong with Babby Kirby, or being a Stupid Boring Babby for that matter. Those originals are still the best. The new ones keep fucking with the formula.

Epic Yarn, for example. Just keep the traditional Kirby suck-and-blow gameplay and add the cutesy yarn look. No need for all that lassoing of backgrounds. It wasn't a bad game, but it could have been better.

I'm concerned that Rainbow Curse will be a similar experience. Which is a shame, because I would have no problem shelling out $40 for this if it was Kirby's Claymation Adventure and nothing more.

By "new ones" i imagine you're referring to the weird off games that they've been making since Kirby's Pinball Land in 1993, which was also the 2nd game in the series if you're going to go with that. They're still making those originals and they won't stop any time soon. There was a regular old Kirby last year and it was great, but for me, Kirby shines brightest when he's in a game that isn't a standard Kirby Platformer, Stupid Whatever Mirror and Block Ball aside.

And Epic Yarn is way better than Kirby's Boring Return to Babbyland in any case
    Donk

  6. And last year's Regular Old Kirby was the best Regular Kirby game since Adventure

and Adventure is better than Dream Land 2, but that's not a knock on Dream Land 2, because it's excellent, it's just that Adventure is Perfect

Yeah, never been a big fan of Kirby's Golf Course or whatever the fuck. Nothing beats standard Kirby, flying around and shooting laser beams.

Exactly, no one plays Kirby for the challenge. This doesn't look challenging anyway and the control scheme is for assclowns.

We just got an amazing mainline Kirby game on the 3DS. We don't need one every year.

Just started playing this, it's adorable and fun. I watched the GB QL and the guy was pretty shit at it and seem to be down on the game for absolutely no reason. Jeff liked everything he saw. He sounded a little confused by the negativity and just let it go.

If you like Canvas Curse, cute things, and can draw lines AND your heart isn't a shrivelled-up black turd, I'm sure you'll like this game.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1

  10. Maybe

    What if

Jeff had to give it a low score

because he didn't feel cool with his Giant Bombs

Maybe it's not his fault, maybe it's ours
    Donk
