Looks nice.
So how does the cronology of the Tales games work out? Does Destiny or Eternia have anything to do with Phantasia?
I happen to come across something on Tales of Destiny 2 and I must say I am impressed, they kept the 2D graphics and even made them at a higher resolution from what I can tell so it should be super sweet
They better bring this over here, I hope they don't give us some bullshit because they are ready named Tales of Eternia, Tales of Destiny 2

Gah, I really hate it when American publishers screw around with the names (and sequel numbers) of series'. You wouldn't believe how many casual gamers back in 1997 were so utterly confused that the Final Fantasy series went from 3 to 7. "Hur? What happened to 4, 5, and 6?" Actually, you probably would. I bought Strikers 1945 for PSX thinking it would be the first game in the series, after playing the arcade original only a few days before I bought it. "Wait a minute... this isn't the same game!"
Anyway, somehow I don't see this game being released here for the simple (and stupid) fact that Namco isn't gonna know what to call it! Biiiiiiig mistake calling Tales of Eternia ToD2. I'll laugh my ass off if it gets released here as Tales of Phantasia or Tales of Eternia. Then again, a nice, high-res 2D RPG would definitely persuade me to plop down the money for a PS2, so I wouldn't be laughing anymore.
all the games in the tales series are unrelated to each other. except for the real Tales of Destiny 2 which is a sequel to the 1st one. Wonder if Namco is gonna call this one Tales of Destiny 3...and if Namco doesn't release the game here because of the name screwup i am seriously gonna kill someone.Originally posted by Green

how 'bout tales of destiny gaiden as a new title.....then when tales of destiny 3 comes out (if ever) they'd have to call it tales of destiny gaiden 2.....god, renaming games sure does put companies in some strange naming and numbering situations doesn't it?
I still havent got the second Tales game on psone!!
