And now it's gone off the rails.
I was more interested in the weird angle. I'm not going to be a dinosaur and act like the GBA had no good games. But the quote was "amazing, weird."
Seaman fits that description.
Chulip fits that description.
DK Jungle Beat, Typing of the Dead, and Sneak King fit that description.
Let's get back on track.

It said amazing. I changed it because brave was closer to what I was looking for. But I still think and know all the games I listed are amazing.

DS and GBA are both wonderful and I don't want to fight. People who say DS is the best are right. People who say GBA is the best are right, too.

I do think more people should try Car Battler Joe. But Final Lap Twin did something much less fun years before it so maybe it's not that cool. I guess all the comic books I like maybe aren't that cool because Perseus and David and Beowulf supermanned first, so it's time to throw them in the garbage

I got Minecraft on Xbox One. I've never played any version of Minecraft before.

I'm not trying to argue which system is better. You raised a criteria of weird good games, just pointed out the DS had plenty. You forgot Warioware BTW.

Car Battler is decent but has sadly gotten a bit pricey as of late.

They're both really great systems! I think the DS was around for many more years than the GBA, so it has a ton more games in general.

The GBA had a lot of great games when most of the main console releases were mediocre. It's not that they were the best ever, but they were water in the desert.

Speaking of GBA, I got a DSTwo flash cart, which has a secondary feature if having an excellent GBA emulator on it for DSi's with no GBA support. The games are huge with no filtering on the XL screen and I can FINALLY remap the buttons.
