I agree with that. Weedon has actually been practicing every Wednesday, so he's gotten a lot more first team work than most backups. Plus, if a RB can't pick up a blitz today like they couldn't against the garbage Washington defense, it won't matter who the QB is.
That is the worst roughing the passer call of all time, but I guess the league is still trying hard to coddle Griffin. He was a runner, and the guy never touched his head, so the call was complete shit twice. They just gave Washington seven points. That ref shouldn't be penalized or whatever bullshit they do; he should be fired.
Today is why the Cowboys should not have done Orton the favor of cutting his ass. They should have made him report or retire. Meanwhile, the Eagles get better thanks to their QB injury. The Jets are going to look like idiots when they see Sanchez with actual talent around him.
edit: This Redskins game was bought and paid for by someone. Every call has gone against Minnesota, despite playing at home.
