Which is why I don't like most tv and film, I suppose. It's one thing to work within the framework of a genre, but to not offer any semblance of spin or innovation? Fuck that lazy shit. There's too many other things vying for my attention.
You can say that for just about anything. Btw, I have not seen any of those shows.

Does the Black Lodge qualify as a multiverse? uploadfromtaptalk1444771904071.jpg
Sure. None of the last 3 games I played were jrpg.
I agree with SSJN to a point—the drama on the show is pretty much par for the course in superhero shows. The love story with Barry and Irish is actually creepy and silly.
In spite of that I really like the reveals, development of the main season's villain and the willingness of the writers to create all of the Flash's ACTUAL villains without the need to sugar coat them or make them "cool". Honestly the source material is goofy fun and they've ran with it. Also as a side note many of the villains you're assuming are throwaway are part of The Flash's rogue's gallery make return appearances over the course of the season as constant thorns in his side.
I would love to see Smallville try to do Grodd justice and succeed the way The Flash has.
