Creating a new timeline from Eddie's death forward wouldn't erase the current Eobard in the current universe, so Terminator rules are wrong.

They changed existing history and erased Eobard but forgot that he kind of did everything important ever. It's just horrible.

How do you circumvent that in a time travel show? It's not like they forgot about Wells instantly so wouldn't that infer that everything up until that point is preserved. It's only the future that can be changed not the past? Nevermind, fuck time travel discussions.

Yeah, there are only two models for time travel that make sense (at least that I've ever seen) - the Lost "whatever happened, happened" model, where it's impossible to change the past and by trying you'll probably inadvertently cause whatever it is you mean to prevent, and the Abrams Trek quantum multiverse model where by going back you start a new timeline, your original continues on without you, and what happens in one is irrelevant to the other (under which Eddie shooting himself would accomplish fuck all).

Yes. The multiverse us probably the correct way to look at it. Though, ideally, if you could time travel you could just as well universe travel and go to the universe with the thing you wanted changed already changed.

These kinds if things never explain why the machines are so heavily locked into our perception of time as apposed to how time actually works.

is this continuing in arrow? cus i sure as shit aint watching that. though i do like diggles little mask. but im def feeling season 2. the pace is quicker than season 1. im loving it.
