Thread: HBO series: Westworld

  1. Logan has ulterior motives. He was smiling when he was getting his ass whooped and he noticed McPoyle ran off with Dolores.

  2. omg i love mcpoyle so much, more and more every episode. he's just a wannabe do-gooder cliche, i love it. But SOON.....

the ed harris and hannibal lecter moment was just astoundingly rad. Poor Teddy just wants to die and no one will let him.

  3. Teddy: Just kill me.
    Ed Harris: Dolores...
    Teddy: Let's go!
look here, upon a sig graveyard.

You know, I didn't think he had it in him. Given his past roles, I wasn't sure McPoyle could handle something so serious, but he really is knocking it out of the park.

  5. I've seen him in a few random serious roles (Zodiac being one) and I've always really liked him. He's just the right amount of likable and creepy.

That scene was something to watch. The more god-like Ford gets with each episode the creepier he becomes too–almost in lock step.

I like Dolores' storyline. Great show and it's half over

Comedians often transition to amazing actors. Hell look at Bryan Cranston. From anti-dentite Seinfeld guest star to Breaking Bad.

No shit huh? Wow that IS surprising. You mean to tell me people like Jim Carrey and Robin Williams are capable of serious acting chops? Who'd a thunk it?

  8. Never worked out for Micheal Keaton or Tom Hanks or Kevin Kline or Eddie Izzard or Stephen Fry or Hugh Laurie or Jamie Foxx though, so it's not like you can assume anything.

  9. Hugh was awesome in the Night Manager!
