The first one I recall was Rush correctly stating that McNabb was being intentionally overrated because he was black. That one hit too close to home, because ESPN was responsible for a lot of it.

Mets pick up Tyler Clippard from the A's for Minor League prospect RHP Casey Meisner. Clippard is a closer who will be a free agent after this season. Don't like reliever rentals but I guess the Mets think they can make the playoffs this year. Clippard will set up for Familia and can close games if needed. He's sure as hell better than the Torreseses and Gilmartin. I hope the Mets can somehow land a damn hitter.
edit: I forget that clown Mejia isn't eligible to be on the roster should the Mets make the postseason. Stupid Jennry.
