I still say a Metroid game on the 3D using the engine from Other M, with out the FP sections, would be fucking amazing. That isometric view is perfect for the 3D effect.

I doubt Nintendo would acknowledge the existence of Other M if asked, let alone re-use the design.

I doubt Nintendo brings back any Classic games. That ship has sailed. Nobody knows that stuff anymore. We are never getting new 2d classics again.

Several Smash assets are Other M variants. I'd assume that's from laziness though.

I mistakenly bought the first Prime game. I did not get the rest of them or Other M. Come to think of it I did get Other M at 5 Below for $5 and never opened it.

I would rather it didn't exist than have some half assed garbage. I would take a 3D Metroid if it played out like Tomb Raider or Soul Reaver. 3rd person, giant areas that I'm left to explore and unearth hidden stuff. Just like the NES and SNES games. Enough of the hand holding garbage.
