I think after DoFP X 1-3 and both Wolverine movies no longer exist, technically speaking.

Yeah it was pretty clearly the series being handed off to a new generation (they literally killed pretty much every X-Men character except Wolverine and Kitty Pride). Magneto was pretty badass in Days of Future Past. That movie was good which is why this movie being so... unexceptional... was strange. They had all the pieces in place for it to be good.

They didn't though, they killed off the Ultimate timeline, which wasn't a good one, if I'm understanding things.

I liked a lot of the Ultimate stuff, but editorial fucked it up pretty bad.

So if stories take place after 2000 it'll be Patrick Stewart again? I thought them killing off Halle Berry and the others was basically erasing everything past that point anew. That was the whole point of the Wolverine late for class scene?

No, because the actor has aged too much. It won't even be the same Professor X, because Wolverine going back changed the "future". Depending on if we are going by Terminator, or Terminator Genesys rules it means different things. Based on the clusterfuck of alternate realities I assume it's Terminator Genesys rules.

I don't care. How's that? I like these movies when shit blows up, and Superheroes talk shit on each other. Fuckin' sweet. If stories take place after 2000 it'll be fuckin' sweet again.

I like them too. I enjoy the new actors as well except Lawrence as Mystique.

I really like Fassenblazem as Magneto! If he has the helmet on he looks like Sir Ian from some very specific angles.

I like the old Nightcrawler more though.
